Beijing Shijingshan Amusement Park – Fun Amusement Galore

Built in the latter part of the 80’s, the Beijing Shijingshan Amusement Park is an extensive area that has much to offer the adventure loving tourist. It is perfect for a family outing especially because there are activities the whole family can participate in. There are six themed areas in this park: the Eastern Area, Western Area, Adventure Land, Fantasy Land, Dream World and the Virtual Area. In the Eastern Area there is a deer garden where one can pet deer and spend some time with the animals, a 4D cinema and the Fengshen coaster ride. There is a small fee charged to enter the park, but you should keep in mind that each ride has a charge too.

The Western Area is especially good for children below 12 years of age. There is an elephant ride and a tea cup ride. There is also a Royal Carousel which is safe for children to go on. There are several other rides like the Italian bumper car, a large Ferris wheel and an exhilarating ride called the Warrior Turnplate.

Adventure Land is probably the best place for those who love fast paced rides. The height and the extent of these rides are sure to get that blood pumping. One such attraction is The Hurricane which takes a 180 degrees turn swinging from side to side; rest assured one will have to hold on to your stomach while you go on this one! There is also the Roman Chariot ride which is like a see-saw in midair. If you are not particularly interested in the fast spins you can always opt for Dream World or the Virtual World. Fantasy Land also has some chilled out activities that you could participate in.
